Shipping & Handling, Returns, Restocking and Exchange Policies.
SHIPPING: MakinInspiration charges a Flat rate as indicated on your order. There may be additional handling charges added for oversize/overweight items and you will be notified before the order is processed. Since we are located in Hawaii it is our goal to keep your shipping costs down by shipping all orders via USPS Priority Mail (United States Postal Service) via their "Click and Ship" program within the United States, including Alaska (additional shipping charges may apply on any order). We currently are not offering shipping to international destinations (Suggestion: Ship to a friend/relative in the US and they can ship to the international destination!). Shipping charges are non-refundable. Priority Mail offers 1-3 day service to most domestic destinations. (NOTE: This differs from the total processing time to complete your order. Please add 3-5 business days to the shipping days). Express mail can be arranged by contacting us directly upon placing your order via a separate email at sharonmakini@makininspiration.com). RETURNS, RESTOCKING and EXCHANGES: Your satisfaction is very important to us and we want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not, simply return the item(s) in it's original and new condition within 14 days of the purchase date and we will refund the amount of purchase less any shipping fees or you may exchange the item(s) subject to the return policies as indicated here: • 15% restocking fee on all returns or exchanges. • No returns or refunds after 14 days from purchase date. • Shipping damages and/or shortages must be reported to the carrier within 2 days. • We are not responsible for shipping damages. • Refunds are contingent upon inspection of item(s) once we receive it. • Shipping charges are NOT refundable under any circumstances. • The return shipping costs are the customers responsibility. • We will pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error. (NOTE: You will need to contact us BEFORE returning the item at sharonmakini@makininspiration.com). You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (3 to 7 business days to Hawaii), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS: Personalized items and any item not returned in the condition it was sent are non-refundable.
